By reacting scrap copper with hot dilute Sulphuric Acid and blowing air through the mixture, Copper Sulphate is obtained. The copper oxidises on contact with air and the Oxide acts with the acid to form Blue Pentahydrate Crystals.

Zinchem produces a feed grade Copper Sulphate, which can be used for:
